Face of America Ride 2010

On Saturday April 24, 2010 myself, Vickie and Christina(New York Chiropractic College Student) had the privilege of volunteering to treat riders from the Face of America Ride. This particular ride went from Washington DC to Gettysburg, PA. The riders ranged from Civilians, Active Duty Military, Retired Military and Injured Military. I can not express how fortunate the three of us were to be a part of something so special, and inspiring. I have had the good fortune of spending more than one morning or afternoon at different VA Hospitals waiting to be treated and getting to meet the true heroes of our time. This Saturday was no different than any day I have had at the VA Hospital. I was and am truly inspired by these individuals who have given so much. You can find out more about the ride and World T.E.A.M. here. I encourage each of you to not only remember what they do for us on a daily basis, but to take the time, energy. and love to thank them for all they continually give.

Sincerely,

Back from my Sabbatical

Readers,

I apologize for the long delay in between blogs. I started a course in October to obtain a new certificate/degree in Sports Medicine and have been extremely busy between classes and the clinic. Now that the course is near completion you should see post on a more regular basis.

Sincerely,

Dr. Jonathan Smith
